About the Artist
Elise Mendelle is a London-based contemporary figurative artist; her work explores the emotional depth and complexity of the female form. Using bold, expressive brushstrokes and a pared-back palette, she captures moments of introspection and lived experience, blending realism and abstraction to reveal hidden stories. Her paintings have been shown in the UK and internationally, including a solo show at Henarch Galleries in London, a sold-out show with Oreofe Gallery in Paris and exhibitions in Notting Hill, Highgate, and Piccadilly Circus. Elise's practice explores identity and emotion Through the interplay of line, colour and expression, through stories that are at once deeply personal and universally felt.
